Our Story | A Legacy of Excellence Since 1965

Founded in 1965 by Earl Alexander, A&E Machine Shop, Inc. was built on a foundation of skilled craftsmanship, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Over the decades, the company has grown into an established industrial operation, providing specialized services and solutions to customers across a wide range of industries.

Through continued growth and investment, A&E Machine Shop, Inc. has expanded its capabilities to include heavy and structural fabrication, precision CNC and conventional machining, industrial welding, ASME code-certified pressure vessel fabrication and repair, and specialized wear solutions. As a Certified Hardox® Wearparts Center, we provide abrasion-resistant solutions utilizing Hardox® and Duroxite® materials to support demanding industrial applications.

Since that time, A&E Machine Shop, Inc. has doubled the size of its facility, reflecting decades of continued growth, investment, and expanded industrial capabilities. This expansion has allowed us to strengthen our operations, accommodate larger and more complex projects, and better serve the evolving needs of our customers.

Complementing our industrial operations, A&E Mill & Welding Supply Store serves as an additional resource for contractors, businesses, and individual customers. The store offers welding supplies and accessories, personal protective equipment, industrial products, and a selection of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, along with equipment and cylinder rental services and torch and gauge repairs.

Today, under second-generation leadership and with the involvement of the third generation, A&E Machine Shop, Inc. continues to build upon its established reputation while focusing on future growth. Through investments in equipment, workforce development, and expanded capabilities, we remain committed to meeting the evolving needs of the industries we serve.
